History

Allaire Road that travels through the town was named after the prominent landowner, James P. Allaire. His village of Allaire, the neighbor to Osbornes Mills, dates back as far as 1822. The township of Wall was incorporated in 1851, and over the years, many areas have broken off to become their own municipalities.
