Ramblewood

The unincorporated community of Ramblewood is located in the northwest section of Burlington County, New Jersey. It helps to form the Mount Laurel Township, along with Bougher, Centerton, Colemantown, Coxs Corner, Fellowship, Hartford, and others. Some of the main roadways within the community include the New Jersey Turnpike, Fellowship Road, Church Road, Park Drive, Schoolhouse Lane, and Church Street. The North Branch Pennsauken Creek flows through the community forming small ponds within the golf course.

History

The Lenape Native American Indians were the first inhabitants in the area, settling around the 1400s. The tribes established foot trails that became some of the current roads in the area. The first English Quaker settlers came into the area in the late 1600s. The community originally had many farms before being developed into the residential area is now. Development began in the 1960s with the influx of city residents seeking a more suburban life. 

Neighborhood

Subdivisions with mainly single-family homes surround the public Ramblewood Country Club. The golf course offers 27 holes along its rolling green acres that appeal to all skill levels. It first opened with the Blue nine course in 1972, then expanded with the White course and the Red, each offering the golfers a new experience. It now offers the community a venue for weddings, mitzvahs, and other special events.

The Seven Tap-Tavern, located at the golf course's country club, serves its guests craft beers while they watch 11 big-screen televisions. The tavern was named after NFL Philadelphia Eagle player Ron Jaworski’s jersey number. The menu includes many items such as the following:

The census counted 5,907 residents, 2,246 households, and 1,532 families in 2010. The racial breakdown of the community was the following:
