West Berlin is an unincorporated community that is situated in the eastern region of the Berlin Township in Camden County, New Jersey. It has a single ZIP code of 08091. The towns surrounding the community are Alluvium, Berlin Heights, Albion, and Clementon. The main roadways in the area include Walker Avenue, Old Egg Harbor Road, Cooper Road, and Franklin Ave. 

History

The main township that the community resides in was incorporated on April 11, 1910. Named after the city of Berlin in Germany, the township took from land in Waterford Township. 

Neighborhood Attractions

Within the neighborhood are two family-friendly attractions. Sahara Sam's Water Park is located just off of Highway 73, or Berlin Kresson Road. The waterpark was founded in 2009 and offers entertainment for its residents all year long. The facility has a retractable roof system that covers 58 of the 68-thousand square feet of theme park fun. 

The second attraction in the area came all the way from the United Kingdom. Diggerland USA was established in 2014 and offered a fun construction-themed adventure park for residents and visitors alike. Some of the attractions include:

  • Roxor Off-Road 

A water park is a new addition to the park, and some of its attractions include:
